US History 10 is a requirement for graduation. We will be covering events in American History from its beginnings until 1900. Additionally , as this is a Pre-AP course, you will be preparing for the rigor and difficult course work in AP US History 11 next year. This includes taking the AP US History Exam in May of your 11th grade year to possibly receive college credit for US History. Therefore, expect to work harder in this class than you have ever worked before. Be prepared for lengthier, more difficult reading; more sophisticated writing, overall higher expectations in this course.
